Bradford Hill - Lawyer
Like a lot of lawyers, I didn't go straight into law from school. After leaving school, I spent a year in Central Queensland trying to be a Jackeroo. My dad served in the Army in Vietnam and I'd always had an interest in joining the Army and so I enlisted, beginning in Signals Corps and finishing up in Intelligence Corps. I enjoyed travelling to South East Asian countries, learning new languages and meeting all sorts of interesting people.

After leaving the Army, I did some coal mining in the Bowen Basin and it was during this time that I took an interest in Acts and Regulations and began my studies in law. Starting out in practice, I was exposed to many different areas of law but criminal law is the one that I enjoy the most and seems to suit my skill set the best. Whilst it can be stressful when I meet people going through difficult situations, it is a real privilege to be able to help them in their toughest times. I can give them some reassurance in stressful circumstances.

When I'm not in court or meeting with clients, I like most 50+ year old men am trying to stay fit. I like going to the gym, walking our dog and trying out some sports - like Pickleball. My guilty pleasure is listening to Taylor Swift in my sauna (please don't judge me).
One of the most frustrating things I find as a lawyer is meeting with clients who could have really benefited from early advice but they didn't want to call or email a lawyer because they were afraid that it would start costing them money straight away.

That's why I want to give people access to early advice at no cost by using my 24/7 messaging service. These messages go directly to my phone and are answered by me or my staff at no cost.
Why not give it a try?
Brooke Kaukiainen - Paralegal
My journey to becoming a Paralegal has seen me take a complete 180 degree turn from a 15 year career as a hairdresser. A secret passion for the written word, an ever growing interest in law and the desire for keeping people (Brad) organised, has landed me here and I really enjoy what I do.

When I'm not assisting in legal matters, I'm in my happy place at home being a mum to my one year old and hanging out with my partner and our pets.

I hope that Noosa Criminal Law can make seeking legal representation and navigating the court system a little easier and less intimidating.
